Initial ideas

1. My first idea is to build a typeface based on the form of material shapes, and how the user can form their own letterform.

1. Another audio based machine could be a beat making machine, where the text is initially spelt out on a splice beat maker, and then the sound which emits from that can be used as one singular button, which can be used to create a soundboard of the typeface, which you can play around with to make your own rhythm of text from. 
2. Another machine could be a line based drawing of the type which revolves around a throw of dice(s), which decides; the weight, length and frequency. This would be include a key which would have particular options for certain numbers. 

1. Another machine based off of construction. This machine will test the users ability to assemble a typeface from as little key pieces as possible. The letterforms will have key parts missing, making it harder to assemble them all. This would use a single pivot system as an anchor point to move the type shapes around to form the complete type.
