Submission Briefing

Studio Brief 01 – How Do We Read?

All Study Tasks should be completed and documented on your blog (labelled
OUGD404).

Studio Brief 02 – If It Bleeds It Leads

• Research, Initial Ideas and Design Development should be completed.
• All 3 x final outcomes (text only, image only, text & image) should
be ready for a Final Crit on Tuesday 19th February in your session.

Refine your final outcomes. Test them at actual size by pasting onto boards in the
Studio.

Through your design decisions (in your practical work), blog posts and design
board annotations demonstrate an understanding, knowledge and application
of design principles to communicate your ideas.

It is essential that you use the correct terminology (typographic anatomy,
typesetting, layout, gestalt principles, grid systems) when describing your work
or the work of others.
