Study Task 4 - Word 2: Ligature, Glyph & Emoji

'&' 

The ampersand is a connected letter or ligature which contains two letters which are often barely recognisable, i.e. 'e' and 't' merged together to for the '&' ampersand.

Here I have developed a new ligature for a contemporary acronym/phrase. WTF 

This ligature is made from Helvetica, one of the typefaces from Vignelli's Canon.

The audience for this is 14-22 year olds who are into streetwear brands, and this would be presented on clothing. The visual language of the ligature should communicate this.
