Domino's Map in Exhibition
Final ink print (analogue process) in the 'Colours May Vary' exhibition space. The digital print wasn't placed up along with the ink print, as there wasn't room for it; also the two prints aesthetic clashed together in a detrimental way that took away from the imagery (map) as whole.
The ink print placed on its own gives a full and clear understanding of the project. Moreover, the domino laser cut stencils placed along the bottom of the long roll of florescent pink paper; as a weights to hold it in place, compliment the black ink prints.
Here in this photo there are three blocks holding the poster in place on the floor; there will be more on the day of the exhibition, giving the viewer a fuller understanding of the process and materials used to create the map.
