Research
Research into Andrew Byrom has given me insight into how type can be layered in physical form i.e. materials placed on pivot on top of each other to create multiple letterforms from the same shapes. I like the idea of using household objects to create letterforms and looking for letterforms in unexpected places.
This research was informed by the experimentation of the legibility of a typeface when it has key points missing, and how these key points can be manipulated into create entirely different forms, while be able to revert back to their original form.
A letterform I found in unexpected place, this could be developed into a whole alphabet which uses objects related to the letter as the typeface.
